Peruvian man discovers 800-year-old mummy in his home: Shocking find!

A man in Peru has been found in possession of an 800-year-old mummy. The mummy is thought to belong to the Chiribaya civilization, which existed between 900 and 1350 AD.

The man, who has not been identified, was attempting to smuggle the mummy out of the country, but was apprehended by police. The mummy has now been handed over to the Ministry of Culture.

The Chiribaya civilization is known for its mummification practices, which involved wrapping the bodies of the dead in layers of cloth and then placing them in a seated position

The mummies were often decorated with intricate designs and were sometimes even given offerings of food and drink.

The Chiribaya people lived in what is now the southern part of Peru and were known for their pottery, textiles, and metalworking.

It is not yet clear what the man intended to do with the mummy or how he came into possession of it.
